Jennings Haug Cunningham attorney to serve his first term on the Hispanic bar board of directors
PHOENIX (February 27, 2012)-Jennings Haug Cunningham is pleased to announce that Travis Pacheco, an attorney with the firm's business litigation and personal injury law practice, was elected to serve on the board of Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association for a one-year term, which commenced in January 2012.
Mr. Pacheco, who joined the firm in 2009, practices in the areas of business litigation and personal injury law. Mr. Pacheco graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors degree in Spanish and Communication in 2003, and earned his law degree from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law in 2008. During law school, Mr. Pacheco served as an extern for Judge Frank R. Zapata, United States District Court of Arizona in Tucson. This is Mr. Pacheco's first term to serve on the bar association's board.
Los Abogados, which is an affiliated member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, was founded in 1976 to promote the business of the Hispanic legal profession within the State of Arizona. Its mission is to enhance the quality of legal services provided to the community; to educate the Hispanic community regarding its rights and remedies and the availability of legal services; and to receive and administer funds for the advancement of the Hispanic legal profession in Arizona.
